The Ampang Kitchen brings to its guests authentic, masterly prepared Penang Peranakan dishes to enjoy in the comfort of your own home. It’s real home-cooked food made with real, fresh, locally, and overseas sourced ingredients that will ‘wow’ you and make you come back for more!

Chef Raymond Leong has been cooking Peranakan food for over 15 years and has put his heart and soul into perfecting and refining all his dishes! He chooses to stay true to the Penang Peranakan heritage and serves his guests authentic Penang Peranakan cuisine, the kind that your grandmother would spend all day cooking over a charcoal fire with the freshest herbs and spices!

Growing up always spoiled with dad’s good food and realising one day it’s a waste for the recipes and cooking techniques to end with dad; Raymond’s youngest son David Leong joins him full-time in the kitchen.

The two father and son home chefs host dine-in meals in their private property on 39 Jalan Ampang in Bukit Timah. The place is air-conditioned, modern, and spacious with a comfortable sitting capacity of 28 persons. Guests are welcome to bring their own beverages, wine, champagne and even cakes for celebration.

For customers who prefer to enjoy their home-cooked Peranakan cuisine can order home catering and have their orders conveniently delivered (delivery charges applied) or picked-up. Our home catering is ideal for family and friends gathering.
